Dr. Benjamin Horn received his doctorate in creative media from the City University of Hong Kong on the topic of the analysis and meaning in narrative games, including a detailed case study of the Witcher 3. Previously he taught at Guangxi Normal University and also the City University of Hong Kong; he is currently working as the Chief Creative Writer for Aither Entertainment Ltd., a game development studio in Hong Kong. His research interests lie at the intersection of narrative studies, game studies, media studies, and critical writing. In what little spare time he has, he enjoys reading, cooking, and playing games.
