Nevin Domer is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing at Hong Kong Baptist University. His research interests include popular and unpopular music, cultural scenes, platform media, and the political economy of communication and culture. His thesis examines the creative production of indie music scenes and DIY culture in Mainland China.
