Jialian Li is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research interests include Chinese feminism, queer studies, and feminist discourse analysis. Currently, she is working on home modifications done by Chinese female caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease, and sisterhood among Chinese women participating in grassroots governance.
