Group A: Theory and Culture

This concentration aims at developing students’ understanding of some basic theories in the study of humanities and endowing them with solid cultural knowledge and literacy. It covers the studies of culture from the classical, contemporary and comparative perspectives, emphasizing reflective understanding of different cultural traditions like western and Chinese cultures. Graduates will be able to apply knowledge, theories and skills to engage with critical analysis and reflection concerning cultural issues.
